Squarepusher & Z-Machines is an experimental and whimsical EP project in the tradition of the revolutionary works of Conlon Nancarrow and Gyorgy Ligeti, utilizing the latest technological advances in robotics alongside the mad musical mind of Tom Jenkinson (aka Squarepusher). The music on Music for Robots was written in MIDI by Squarepusher and performed and recorded in full by the machines in Tokyo, Japan. The EP will be pressed on collectable 12 with blue, translucent vinyl, as well as a special limited edition Japanese import CD.
